Chapter 8

Neelakanta Brahmachari reached the spot where Rajesh and Ramesh Jhabak lay dead. The moment Hari read this news in the paper, Neelakanta sensed the case coming to an end. He examined the two dead bodies, found the murder cleverly made. No hints whatsoever. But then he knew, whoever the killer was, his next attempt would be on either Fleming or Hari. So, he rushed back to the godown. There he found the whole atmosphere sober. Looked like something drastically wrong had happened. On further entry, he found a topless Fleming, having some ice-cool cappucino, along with two babes in bikini.

He realized something wrong had happened, but Fleming didn't seem to know anything about. He just sat at the entrance, waiting for some hint to show up by itself. It was then he heard a gun-shot. He rushed there, and found the two girls running in fright. Fleming had been shot on the head. From the back! The glass of the window behind him was flawless but for one circular opening. Fleming was murdered!! And Neelakanta's suspicions came true. The murderer had attempted Fleming. But Neelakanta had been even more intelligent. When he had come to visit Fleming, as he came from outside, he had set up a spycam in the room. He played the video the spy cam recorded. The first few minutes were all erotica, with Fleming having maximum fun with the girls. Suddenly, there was a gun aimed at the back. On zooming into that place in the video, he observed an old man, wearing glasses, gloves in both his hands, wearing a jet-black jersey, and a black trouser, using a small pistol, shot right into him.

This video was circulated all across the gang, and Ramesh passed immediate orders to everyone in the gang to observe whatever they could in the video. Then, the gang leader called Ramesh and told him that he would send the communicator to pass the further course of action. When the communicator came, Rames/Neelakanta Brahmachari was in for a huge shock. So was Hari. The communicator was none other than Raju!! He had sold his father, his mother, his company and also himself to the rogues over the years. Raju explained to Hari saying he shifted sides because he was given here triple the money he earned there. Hari's blood boiled. Now, he sooner than never, wished to see who the leader of the whole gang was. In a rush of adrenaline, he pushed the guys holding him hard, jumped on to Ramesh, and pulled out the pistol in his pocket. In a fit of rage, he shot at Raju, amidst screams of "don't" by Ramesh. Raju was shot on the head, a shot enough to seal his brain for good. Raju was dead, and this compelled Ramesh to call the leader. The leader was now furious at Hari, and he said he'll be there in an hour's time.

It was more than an hour later, the leader who none in the group had seen before arrived. He came in a huge Skoda. He got down from the car, and the very sight sent Hari into convulsions. It was, none other than Jhabak uncle. HITESH JHABAK was the bastard who had killed his parents, and the innocent John Fleming as well!! But, how did he even escape the ship sink? Hari was confused.

Jhabak entered and the others, the others who hadn't known their leader for this long, stood in a long silence. Jhabak first turned to Hari and said," Beta, you didn't expect this, did you? Ha, you've grown up a lot, since I last saw you. And how did I escape the sink? Because, the sink was organised by me. Your father was a good man who had taken a loan of 50 lakhs from me. I thought I could double it if I could take the insurance from his name, my assets would have doubled. I used the opportunity. DNP was my henchman 20 years ago, and half the reason he got his doctorate was me, I recommended him for it. He gave me his ship for a day, and it worked. I had taken a life-jacket with me, and I swam to the bank. Your poor father died!"

Hari was too shocked to even talk. Jhabak wanted to see the murder video of Fleming. He wanted to see if he could pick up any clues out of it. There he saw the face of an old man, but something similar to a person he had known. After he shot the man, he said something. On reading his lips, Jhabak deciphered it to be, "Buy him or his policy, both work the same way."
Immediately with his brow sweating, he said, "Oh no! The game is not over.."
